Ages 4–12 Years | Preschool to Year 6
Personalised learning designed to help your child grow with confidence.At Little Learners Lane, we believe every child learns differently. That's why every 1:1 tutoring session is thoughtfully tailored to each child's strengths, interests and learning goals.
Whether your child is beginning their school readiness journey, preparing to start school, looking for extra support with literacy or numeracy, or simply wanting to build confidence in their learning, every session is designed to meet them where they are and support them in reaching their full potential.
Through a calm, nurturing and engaging approach, we create a positive learning environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to take risks, celebrate their achievements and develop a lifelong love of learning.
What's included:
- Individualised learning tailored to your child's goals, strengths and learning needs.
- A personalised Student Learning Journey Folder showcasing your child's assessments, learning snapshots and progress throughout their learning journey.
- A comprehensive initial assessment is completed to identify your child's strengths and areas for growth, forming the foundation of their personalised learning plan.

We understand that homework can sometimes feel overwhelming not only for children, but for parents too. Homework Assistance provides a calm, supportive environment where your child receives one-on-one guidance to understand and complete homework provided by their school while building confidence and independence.What's included:
- One-on-one homework support.- Guidance to understand homework tasks.
- Encouragement to build confidence and independence.
- 55-minute learning session followed by a 5-minute parent handover.
- Calm and supportive learning environment
- Support aligned with your child's school homework.
- Drop-off and pick-up service. Please arrive and collect your child on time to avoid impacting other families.
Please note: This service focuses strictly on assisting with homework provided by your child's school and does not include personalised lesson planning or additional tutoring content.

Our 90-minute Literacy Assessment provides a comprehensive overview of your child's current literacy development and helps identify both their strengths and areas where additional support may be beneficial.
The assessment may include:
- Reading accuracy and fluency
- Reading comprehension
- Phonological awareness
- Phonics knowledge
- Spelling
- Writing skills- Grammar and punctuation (where appropriate)
- Oral language and vocabulary (where appropriate)
Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed written summary report outlining your child's strengths, areas for growth and personalised recommendations to help guide their future learning.
Whether you're seeking additional support, preparing for tutoring or simply wanting a clearer understanding of your child's progress, this assessment provides valuable insights to support their learning journey.

Ages 4–12 Years | Preschool – Year 6
Our 90-minute Numeracy Assessment provides a comprehensive overview of your child's current mathematical understanding and helps identify both their strengths and areas where additional support may be beneficial.
The assessment may include:
- Number knowledge
- Counting skills- Place value
- Addition and subtraction strategies
- Multiplication and division (where appropriate)
Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed written summary report outlining your child's strengths, areas for growth and personalised recommendations to help guide their future learning.
15 Minute Trial Session Recommended
Choosing the right tutor is an important decision, which is why I offer an optional 15 minute trial session before committing to a tutoring package.
During the trial session, your child will:
• Meet me, explore the learning environment and begin building a positive relationship.
• Explore the learning environment and become familiar with the space.
•Begin building confidence in a calm, welcoming and supportive environment.
• Participate in an informal initial consultation and observation.
This gives your child the opportunity to build trust, feel comfortable in the learning environment and begin their journey with confidence.
If you choose not to book a trial session, the initial consultation will instead take place during the first session of your tutoring package.
While the trial session is optional, I highly recommend it as a gentle and positive introduction to Little Learners Lane
