Yes. School Readiness is offered as part of our 1:1 tutoring packages for children aged 4–5 years.

Sessions are tailored to each child's individual strengths, interests and learning needs, helping them develop the confidence and foundational skills required for a successful transition to school.

The length of each session depends on the service you choose.

1:1 Tutoring – 60 minutes OR 2 Hours

• 55 OR 115 minutes of personalised learning.

• 5-minute parent handover to discuss your child's progress and focus for the week.

Homework Assist – 60 minutes

Literacy Assessment – 90 minutes

Numeracy Assessment – 90 minutes

Literacy and Numeracy Assessment - 3 Hours

To support your child's confidence and independence, all sessions are conducted one-on-one with the educator.

We understand this can be a new experience for some families, so we kindly ask that you're comfortable with your child participating independently before commencing services.

Parents are welcome to wait nearby if preferred and will receive a verbal update at the end of each session.

If you have any questions or concerns before your child's first session, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're more than happy to discuss the process and ensure both you and your child feel comfortable, confident and supported from the very beginning.

Children only need to bring:

• A drink bottle.

• Their homework (for Homework Assist sessions).

• Any relevant school books or teacher information you'd like us to work on.

All learning resources are provided by Little Learners Lane.

All families are required to complete an Enrolment Form prior to commencing services. This allows Little Learners Lane to gather important information about your child and ensure the most appropriate support is provided from the very beginning.

Once your enrolment has been reviewed, we'll be in touch to discuss your child's learning needs, answer any questions and arrange the most suitable session time.

Yes. Once your enrolment has been finalised and your booking has been confirmed, you'll receive an invitation to activate your secure Parent Portal, powered by TutorBird.

Through the Parent Portal, you'll be able to:

• View your child's upcoming sessions.

• Cancel sessions in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

• View invoices and payment history.

• Update your contact details.

• Access important information relating to your child's enrolment.

The Parent Portal has been designed to make managing your child's learning journey simple, convenient and accessible anytime.

Session packages are purchased upfront and are designed to provide consistent support and ongoing progress.

Session packages are available for:

Session packages are carefully selected during the enrollment process to best meet your child's learning goals and are paid upfront prior to commencement.

Once purchased, session packages cannot be changed, reduced or refunded.

If you're unsure which package is best suited to your child, we're happy to discuss the available options before you enrol.

For the best learning outcomes, weekly sessions are recommended.

Consistent attendance allows children to build on previously taught skills, develop confidence and make steady progress towards their learning goals.

The most suitable package will be discussed during the enrolment process based on your child's individual needs.

At this stage, session packages are paid upfront prior to commencement.

Following your child's assessment, you will receive:

• A comprehensive written summary report.

• An overview of your child's strengths.

• Areas for development.

• Personalised learning goals.

• Recommendations for ongoing support.

If you choose to continue with Little Learners Lane, future sessions will be tailored to your child's individual learning needs.

If your child is unwell, please let us know as soon as possible.

• Cancellations with 24 hours' notice or more may be rescheduled, subject to availability.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance, will incur the full session fee, as this time has been reserved exclusively for your child.

As this time has been reserved exclusively for your child, it will continue to be used to support their learning. This may include planning upcoming sessions, preparing personalised learning resources or providing activities and resources via email where appropriate.

To ensure attendance records remain accurate, all absences must be submitted through the TutorBird Parent Portal. This ensures your child's attendance is recorded accurately, keeps their records up to date and allows your cancellation request to be processed in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

If you cancel your child's session through the Parent Portal with more than 24 hours' notice, the session will remain in your package and will simply be added to the end of your scheduled sessions.

For example, if your child is enrolled in a 10-session package and one session is cancelled with the required notice, the missed session will be completed at the end of the package. Instead of finishing in 10 weeks, your child will finish in 11 weeks (based on one session per week).

Where availability allows, Little Learners Lane may also offer an additional make-up session during the week. While every effort will be made to accommodate this, make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

Homework is optional and tailored to your child's individual learning goals.

Where appropriate, activities may be provided to reinforce concepts taught during sessions and encourage continued learning at home.

Yes.

Parents receive a brief verbal handover after each session.

Children enrolled in ongoing programs also receive regular progress updates, and learning goals are regularly reviewed to ensure they continue to meet each child's individual needs.

Sessions are held in a calm, welcoming learning environment designed to help children feel safe, supported and confident while they learn.

To ensure every child receives the most appropriate support, all families are required to complete an Enrolment Form before commencing services.

Little Learners Lane focuses on ongoing learning through session packages, as consistency leads to the greatest progress.

To help secure your child's spot, you will be contacted before your package ends to discuss re-enrolment. As availability is limited and waitlists may apply, we encourage families to confirm their next package as soon as possible to retain their current session time.

1:1 Tutoring

• 10 Session Package: We'll contact you after your 7th session to discuss re-enrolment.

• 12 Session Package: We'll contact you after your 8th session to discuss re-enrolment.

Please note: To secure your child's ongoing place, your re-enrolment invoice must be paid by the due date. Places are not automatically reserved, and unpaid places may be offered to families on our waitlist.
